Rev. Dr. Pastor Chris Haughee

Teaching Pastor

Rev. Dr. Chris Haughee is a native of the Pacific Northwest with over 30 years of diverse ministry experience. Beginning with camp counseling, mentoring, and youth ministry, he helped pioneer practical trauma-informed ministry implementation for the local church. He served as a chaplain in a Montana residential facility for emotionally disturbed children from 2012 to 2020 while pursuing a Doctorate in Trauma-Informed Ministry at Multnomah Biblical Seminary.

After relocating to Washington during the pandemic, Chris pastored Desert Springs Church in Pasco through a season of post-Covid transition that culminated in a merger with Southside Church. Following the merger, he was called to join Southside Church as our Teaching Pastor. He spends most of his time working as the Donor Development Manager at Mirror Ministries, a Kennewick-based anti-trafficking ministry.

As a writer, speaker, trainer, and teacher, Chris is dedicated to helping individuals discover their purpose while forging significant connections and building a lasting legacy founded on faith.

You can contact him on Sunday mornings at Southside or at haughee@gmail.com.
